Write prompts, not answers
Three to five keywords per story: situation, action, result, number.

Add your questions last
The final points are the questions you want to ask them.

Step through naturally
Move to the prompt you need and speak from memory. The notes are only a nudge.

Follow the rules you're given
Some assessments don't allow notes or aids. If you're told that, respect it.
Don't read answers word for word
Interviewers notice rehearsed reading. Keywords keep you natural.
Practise on a recording
Do a mock answer in Photo Booth and watch where your eyes go.

Questions, answered
Is it OK to use notes in a video interview?+
Brief notes for your own examples and questions are generally acceptable, unless the employer says otherwise. Reading scripted answers word for word usually comes across badly.
Will the interviewer see Cuey?+
Cuey isn't part of your camera feed. If you're asked to share your screen, share a single window so only that window is visible.
What should I put in my notes?+
Keywords for each story you plan to tell, the numbers behind them, and two or three questions to ask at the end.
