Questions, answered
What's the difference between Follow, Read and Notes?+
Follow advances as you speak. Read scrolls on a timer at a speed you set. Notes shows one point at a time and only moves when you tell it to.
Where can I place Cuey on screen?+
At the notch, directly under the camera, to the left or right of the camera, or floating anywhere on screen.
Does Cuey save my scripts?+
Yes. Scripts are saved locally on your Mac and kept between sessions.
Can I change the Read speed?+
Yes. Choose Slightly Fast, Fast or Extremely Fast in Settings, or change it mid-script from the prompt's reading controls. Follow mode has no speed setting; it moves when you speak.
What do the coloured punctuation marks mean?+
Amber full stops mean pause, teal commas and dashes mean keep going, blue question marks mark questions, and violet exclamation marks mark emphasis.
How does Cuey estimate time remaining?+
In Read mode it uses your speed setting. In Follow and Notes modes it estimates from the words left at 150 words per minute.
