Use your speaker notes or a full script. The estimated time helps you check length before you go live.

Set the pace in rehearsal
Run it once in Read mode and adjust speed until it matches how you speak.

Your notes sit under the camera while slides are shared from a single window.
Tips that

Rehearse with the timer
Cuey shows an estimated time remaining, so you'll know if a 20-minute slot holds a 26-minute talk.
Mark slide changes
Add a short line such as [NEXT SLIDE] to your notes so transitions don't catch you out.
Switch modes for Q&A
Use Notes mode for the Q&A with the answers to the questions you expect.

Adjustable Read speed
Read mode advances on its own at Slightly Fast, Fast or Extremely Fast. Change it mid-script from the prompt.
Time remaining
See roughly how long is left in your script as you speak.
Camera-first placement
Pin Cuey at the notch, under the camera, beside it, or float it anywhere.
Four sizes
Compact, Medium, Expanded, or a full-width bar across the top of the screen.
Keyboard shortcuts
Start, pause, hide and paste with shortcuts, or from the menu bar.

Talking points you step through yourself. Nothing moves until you do.

Questions, answered
Can I use Cuey with Keynote or PowerPoint?+
Yes. Cuey is a separate window, so it works alongside any presentation app. Share the slide window, and keep Cuey under the camera.
How do I know how long my talk is?+
Cuey shows an estimated time remaining based on your script. You can also paste the script into our free speaking time calculator.
What if someone interrupts with a question?+
Press ⌥⌘Space to pause. In Follow mode, Cuey simply waits until you're back on the script.
